St. Patrick’s day is coming up on Monday, March 17, and there’s no better place to be in Northern Michigan to celebrate than right here in Grayling. Whether you want to find out who has the best corned beef dinner in town by trying them all or just want to down a few green beers this weekend, our area’s bars and restaurants have you covered in spades… er… clovers.

So here’s a roundup of just some of what’s going on at the Grayling area’s bars and restaurants to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day 2025.

Everyone knows a great day starts at Grayling Restaurant, so don’t miss out on their Irish omelet and corned beef Reuben, which will be on special. Join them on Monday for corned beef and cabbage dinner.

For lunch swing by Two River Deli for their sandwich of the month, the St. Pat. It features corned beef on seeded rye with Swiss cheese, grilled tomatoes, coleslaw, and Thousand Island dressing.

For a bigger meal, the Frederic Inn will have corned beef dinner all weekend long, so no need to wait till Monday.

Gallagher's Bar and Grill will have their homemade corned beef dinner with red skin potatoes, carrots, and cabbage dinner special running Friday through Sunday. And don’t forget to try the corned beef eggrolls. They are closed on Monday, though. So don’t miss out.

Grey Rock Pub & Grub will be serving shepherd’s pie through the weekend, and they’ll be cooking up their corned beef and cabbage dinner on Monday, when you can also knock back a few green beers and holiday-themed cocktails. They will still have their regular weekly specials going, as well.

Over in Lovells, you can visit the Riverside Tavern for corned beef dinner all weekend. This is in addition to their Reuben pizza and sandwich. They’ll also have green beer on tap.

Paddle Hard has their Reuben pizza on special all month. They’ve also got a few St. Paddy’s cocktails stirred up, including the Shamrock Shake-inspired Leprechaun Elixir and the Green Eyed Ginger with Midori and ginger beer.

You can stop by Ray’s BBQ & Blues on the river for a St. Patrick’s corned beef dinner on Monday. They’ll have lamb sliders and lamb stew on special over the weekend, as well as a few holiday-themed cocktails. Monday they’ll also offer their Paddy’s Punch and an Irish Mule.

Head to Rolling Oak Brewery to try their Get Lucky Brew, a blonde ale made with Lucky Charms.

Spike’s Keg-O-Nails will tap a keg of green beer to celebrate the holiday. You can stop in on Monday to get a corned beef dinner from 11am–9pm. They’ve also got themed drink specials all month, so keep an eye out for their mint martini.

The Swamp II Bar & Restaurant will celebrate on both Saturday and Monday with a traditional corned beef dinner and a prime rib dinner on special both days. They’ll have green beer, too, alongside their leprechaun drinks and Irish Car Bombs.  Saturday night will feature Dharma Records Karaoke with Al & Diane, and there will be free T-shirt giveaways every hour.

Tinker’s Junction is bringing in a mechanical bull from 8–11pm on Saturday night. A $5 cover for all riders and spectators gets you all the rides you can handle. They will also have corned beef and cabbage dinner on Monday.

West Side Diner is starting the Monday morning right with an Irish Omelet and a Corned Beef Skillet that includes your choice of eggs with cheese on top of skillet potatoes.  They will continue the day with the traditional Corned Beef and Cabbage. 

Come and enjoy Mi Mezcalito Mexican Grill green specials.  Monday they will have Margaritas and beer on special.  

Don't forget also the Saint Patrick's Celebration @ AuSable Artisan on March 15th with a live performance by Celtic Duo Shannon Lee.
